In 2009 Paul Griffiths and Sarah Ashworth raced against each other whilst raising money for the British Heart Foundation - Paul won by a narrow margin. In 2010 they raced in opposite teams for the Helly Hanson challenge and Sarah's team won! This year the gauntlet has been thrown by Sarah  - she has entered them into the Helens Trust race at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire. Helens trust is a charity that supports people and their families with incurable illnesses to stay at home. Paul is going to be representing again theBritish Heart Foundation. Many of you will be aware that this charity is very close to Pauls heart! In 2008 Paul had coronary artery surgery and was supported afterwards by the BHF - he is now fitter than ever.

Paul will be expecting to run his race in around 50 minutes! Sarah's last race time was 58 mins but..... she has been seen running around the hills of her village a very lot lately so its anybodies guess as to who will be fastest. In April we will be setting up a page that will enable you to give one of them some virtual support by clicking on who you think is most likely to win the race. The race loser has to pay a given amount to the winners charity.

We wish them luck in their training.
