Paul started his career as an accountant before moving into recruitment in 1989. He became Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development qualified in 1998 and a fellow in 2005. He has always worked with a mix of owner managed businesses and large corporates (including many with overseas parents) and is responsible for leading our expertise in operations recruitment, finance recruitment, supply chain recruitment, HR recruitment, production recruitment, general management recruitment and sales and marketing recruitment. He also helps clients to carry out MBO/MBI deals and runs our national MBI register.
Sarah Ashworth Business Development Director
Sarah is the power behind our marketing effort - as our business development specialist she helps us to identify new opportunities, markets, companies and candidates so we remain proactive and competitive. Sarah is an excellent 'people person' and is responsible for running all our client events, which we often host in conjunction with other specialists such as accountants, solicitors and employment law specialists. She is also the key driver in continually striving to improve our service delivery, customer satisfaction levels, internal systems and procedures.

Paul has been in HR for over 30 years. His experience includes 12 years in HR Consultancy, culminating in the role of Head of HR Consulting for a Big 4 international accountancy firm. For the past 14 years he has run his own Consultancy business, working with a range of companies, including many family owned, focusing on: HR Strategy; Change Management; Team and Leadership Development and Psychometric Testing/Profiling. He also has a portfolio of clients for whom he provides an HR Best Practice Advisory service.
Outplacement and career management specialist and redundancy counsellor
Bob is highly skilled in working with clients to develop clear goals and is extremely effective in delivering solutions for middle and senior management level clients up to board level. He has worked in the public and private sectors including not for profit organisations and has managed major outplacement and redundancy projects for organisations including BAT, British Gas, MOD and Scottish Power. Bob’s breadth of experience is invaluable when helping clients explore the numerous options open to them and in providing the practical advice and support to achieve success. Bob runs our programme on "Managing and Handling Redundancies Effectively" and also our Survivor Counselling sessions.
