Job Title: Financial Controller

Our client is a large company based in South Cheshire who has a job vacancy for a Financial Controller. This role would ideally suit an experienced and qualified accountant who will work closely with the Finance Director in handling a varied range of responsibilities covering: monthly management accounts; VAT; payroll; statutory returns; year-end work; ad hoc reporting as required by the Directors; managing banking relationships etc. Based in the office in South Cheshire, the job holder will also be managing a department of 4 staff. This is a very broad role and offers an experienced individual the opportunity to progress their finance career with an established and successful organisation. You will be a Financial Controller with a straight forward, down to earth style, and the ability to "stand your ground" with the Directors, while at the same time being diplomatic and tactful. Possessing good communication and presentation skills, the individual will be comfortable operating with a hands-on style. Good experience within manufacturing/process industries essential.
