Job Title: Financial Controller / Director designate

Our client is a fast growing private company based in Liverpool, Merseyside, with an aggressive strategic plan to deliver increased sales and market share over the next 3 years. We are now looking for an ambitious and career oriented qualified accountant to fill a job vacancy for a Financial Controller position, with a view to directorship in due course. The Financial Controller role will be very commercially focused, with a real emphasis on working with the management team to deliver the business plan. The job holder will be based in the office in Liverpool, Merseyside and will handle all the finances, monthly reporting, external advisor and banking relationships, supervise a small team and be geared up to work with a demanding MD, who operates at a pace. We are looking for an individual who has real drive and enthusiasm, commercial skills, a hands-on style to get things done and excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
