Company Accountant

£30,000 to £40,000 subject to seniority plus return flights package and holidays
Our client is one of the world's leading precious metals and minerals assaying companies, with operations in 35 countries. They now require an experienced accountant (not necessarily qualified) to work in Zambia where you will report to the Country General Manager and handle a diverse range of duties including managing financial information systems to produce monthly management reports and accounts, weekly cashflow forecasts, ensure compliance with local tax authorities, ensure debt collection procedures are adhered to, monitor capital expenditure, liaise with external auditors, communicate with non-finance Managers to help them to understand reports and information produced to assist in decision making. You will be an excellent communicator, being able to get departments to work together for mutual benefit, be conversant with UK GAAP, use of Sage Line 50, be capable and competent in report writing and be good at working under pressure, reporting to tight deadlines, both locally and to group in the UK.
