Job Title: General Manager

Our client is a growing privately owned online retailer, with fantastic prospects for future expansion. They are now looking for a General Manager to take full overall control of the operational, day to day running of the business, reporting to a remote Managing Director. This role requires the successful candidate to be capable of "juggling many balls at once" - to do this you will be an accomplished results driven team player, with a proven track record of success in a growing privately owned business to date. Specifically, you will be involved in:

Management of a team of staff, customer services, warehouse operation, quality, strategic planning, maximising the use of new state of the art equipment, integrating acquisitions, managing internal procedures and compliance, data protection, trading standards, environmental health, health & safety, website management, general administration, pricing, supplier negotiation and sourcing new ones, importing, fiinancial reporting, stock control and assessing potential acquisition targets. This is such a varied role, we are looking for a hands on, versatile, communicative and personable individual with the desire to be a key part of a growing and fast paced business where no two days are the same. Excellent prospects including profit share and also potential equity in the future.
